Second Rainout in a Week Postpones Yanks-Orioles

Quick Update:

While they might have gotten the game in after 930pm, it really wasn't worth it and the field was probably incredibly soaked.  New York City has received 0.68" today (as of the writing of this post) and temperatures held in the low 50s, now falling into the 40s.  Would have been an awful night for baseball with a gusty wind as well.  Burnett will be pushed back until tomorrow with Hughes starting on Thursday.

Weather for Tomorrow's Matchup (vs. Orioles):

The system that brought the wet weather today will continue to sluggishly pull out of the region but leave behind scattered showers and cool conditions throughout the day.  Definitely grab the umbrella if you're headed to the game tomorrow although I do believe the game will be played (possibly with a slight delay in the beginning).

Game Time Conditions (7:05pm):  Cloudy, cool, and damp with a shower early.  Temperature of 51 degrees.

Verification of Yesterday's Forecast:

Forecast Temp: 48
Observed Temp: 52
Forecast Conditions:  Cloudy with showers.  Good chance of not getting the game in.
Observed Conditions:  Cloudy with rain.  Game postponed

Grade: A-
